Since the inaugural World Final in Arkansas, USA, in 2018, the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships has travelled the globe, crowning world champions and showcasing the sport on some of the world’s most iconic pump tracks. From Europe, South Africa and South America to North America, each World Final has added a new chapter to the championship’s history. In 2026, the journey continues as the world’s best riders head to Beijing, China, for the next battle for the coveted rainbow jersey.

The 2026 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships Final will take place in Beijing, China.
After a season of qualifying events around the world, the sport’s top riders will head to Beijing to compete for the rainbow stripes and the title of World Champion.

Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships 2025
Monthey, Switzerland – The 2025 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships delivered a landmark moment for the sport, as France’s Eddy Clerte claimed his second rainbow jersey and became the first rider to take the men’s title twice in the history of the series, while Czech rider Sabina Košárková powered to her second world crown in the women’s category.
The men’s racing built to a dramatic climax, with Clerte clocking the fastest lap of the day at 20.023 seconds to edge out Switzerland’s Tristan Borel, who finished in 20.168 seconds. The small final saw Jesse Elzenga of the Netherlands take third with a 20.948-second run, while Switzerland’s Sirio Grunig placed fourth in 21.225 seconds.
The women’s final was equally fierce, with Košárková defeating Swiss rival Christa von Niederhäusern by just two hundredths of a second — 22.424 vs 22.441 — in one of the tightest World Final finishes to date. Germany’s Alina Beck claimed third with 22.741, while Latvia’s Vineta Petersone took 4th place in 23.195.
An incredible Swiss crowd turned Monthey’s Velosolutions Pump Track into a wall of noise, lifting the riders through every round and creating an atmosphere worthy of a World Championships.
