Set in Hillsborough, a well-known district of Sheffield with a strong sporting and outdoor culture, the pump track forms part of the city’s wider network of community-focused cycling and recreation spaces. Sheffield’s long-standing connection to cycling and outdoor sport makes Hillsborough a natural setting for competitive pump track racing. As a qualifying venue on the Pump Track World Championships calendar, the track offers a layout that balances accessibility with race-ready features.
The main circuit measures approximately 170 metres, with a long back straight, four 180-degree berms and options for shorter loops to suit different age groups and formats. Alongside the main track, a dedicated 46-metre beginner loop supports progression from first rides through to World Championship qualification.
