Loosdrecht

Netherlands

The Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifier heads to Loosdrecht on the iconic Bibian Mentel Playground. Set in the heart of the Netherlands, this inclusive Velosolutions Pump Track welcomes riders of all ages and abilities for a day full of racing, community and unforgettable moments.

About the venue

The UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifier is coming to the iconic Bibian Mentel Playground in Loosdrecht.

This unique venue is much more than just a pump track. It is the very first Bibian Mentel Playground and stands as a symbol of inclusion, determination and the power of sport.

The story started in 2019, when local youngsters Ty and Jazz launched a residents’ initiative to bring a pump track to Loosdrecht. With more than 600 signatures collected, the dream quickly gained momentum. Multiple Paralympic champion Bibian Mentel heard about the initiative and immediately joined forces through her Mentelity Foundation.

Today, the playground is located close to Bibian’s former home and offers an inspiring place where children and adults, with and without disabilities, can ride, play and challenge themselves together.

At the heart of the playground lies the Velosolutions Pump Track, specially designed to be fully inclusive. The venue features adapted access for wheelchair riders, a spectacular wallride for extra challenge and a dedicated kids track for the youngest riders.

For one weekend, this extraordinary venue will welcome riders from across the Netherlands and beyond, all competing for a place at the UCI Pump Track World Championships.

Get ready for fast laps, close racing and an unforgettable atmosphere in Loosdrecht.
